horse head logoHorse Boarding

We are located 45 minutes north of Dallas or Fort Worth near the intersection of where I-35E and I-35W meet. 5 minutes from University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

Clean and very quiet, owner lives on the property as do two full time live-in helpers, including my 17 year employee who trains my horses. For 19 years, we have bred and raised our Andalusian horses and foaled out literally hundreds of foals so have experience in taking care of horses. Our foremost concern in boarding is to maintain the quiet and happy environment we enjoy and to have healthy, happy horses.

We accept rehab for temporary needs or retired horses who can be in the pasture.

This is a breeding facility although we ride our stallions.  We have no  covered riding arena but have a totally enclosed and roofed 60 foot roundpen and an outdoor sand arena for riding when weather permits (too wet when rains).  The property is on a dead end so we can ride on our very unbusy neighborhood road, and have about 25 acres of hay pasture that we ride on.   We have a wash rack with hot and cold water as well as vet stocks and trailer parking.

Full boarding begins at $500/month and pasture board begins at $300 per month, but  price is dependent on your horse being able to be in our group turnouts.   Additional amounts are charged for additional services other than feed and water such as for clean hoof, vitamin or health supplements, medication or supplement administration per day (bute, penicillin, etc, special horse handling, and  fly spray or sun block.

Please contact me for more information and whether we have availability and to discuss any special needs for you or your horse.   Because I have an ongoing horse business and this is my home, I retain the right to refuse rental to any applicant. A negative coggins test must be supplied and as required, a health check by an approved veterinarian. This information is not a boarding agreement, but a schedule of some of the fees and services. A separate boarding agreement will be entered before a horse joins our farm as a boarder. No dogs allowed to accompany boarders unless arranged with owner. Insurance release required to be signed.
